On The Road Again

Do notget attachedto your neighbours because you won’t be there long.|Never had a chanceto get to know my neighbours because we are on the move so frequently, I suppose it means we Whats the point in getting to know your neighbours when you move about as much as we do. We have moved two timesa year for the past 3 years. You could say I’ma specialistin discovering properties to rent because I move so often, it’s the kind of thing that someone in my business has to deal with and can’t grumble about. So I’ve taken it upon myself to be the directorof our moves as they can be somewhattime-consuming. I find that the best way to stay calmis to be totallyinvolved. I like to know every elementof the move and have it all planned out in front of me so I can make sure we are on course and doing things correctly. I do not like to dependon someoneelse to have to deal with my things and I am getting into a good regimenow.

Becausethe twins are still smallit can be a bit hardon them having to go to new places all the time but at least they have each other so they always get bywell.

I believe we as a family got lucky asthe boys always had a ally to take with them unlike some pairs of twins, my boys are very close good chums. This makes the move easierbecause there is less cryingand more anticipationat the idea of meeting more mates. There is also a certain amount of derisionthat twins are subjected to unwantedattention and daftjokes. This means that my boys have no issueleaving bullies behind.

Trying to find the perfectplace can always prove to be a bit toughand with the boys being that little bit bigger and older we are thinking about stayingaway from a flat and going for a house so we have a backyardfor them to play in.

The bestsuggestion I can provide is to fillyourcar to the brimwith boxes and then sealthe gaps with loose clothing, pillows and blankets and then for everything that does not fit in that one car get a shippingcompany to take it to your new place, becauseonce you have to steera convoyall bets are off, and you will inevitablyend your journey in divorce. When driving with this much stuff try to drive with half a tank of petrol to save burden. It will extendyour totalmiles per litre.Petrol is heavyand the engine will have to work far harder with all that petrol to drag along with it. Most moves are planned with some time in advance. Plotting easy to get topetrol stations along your route is not only advisable, it is imperative.

Now my only issueis that myboys are lookingat me in the rear view mirror whenever we are in the car. But when I look at them they are sleeping. They must be playing tricks on me this is what happens when boy get to a certain age; they start speaking Latin, Elvin or Klingon. The only trick I can’t understand is how they make their reflections vanish. Kids Huh?

Well I hope this helps, good luck.
